Your reader’s data stays on your device.

What is captured

ManyCords captures messages, author names and IDs, avatar identifiers, and channel and server names that your own Discord tab receives, only for channels in your collections. This data is used to provide your local reader.

Where it stays

Captured data is stored only in your browser’s extension storage on your device. It is never sent to us or any third party. There are no analytics and no ManyCords accounts.

Network requests

The only network requests the extension makes are image loads from Discord’s CDN, cdn.discordapp.com and media.discordapp.net, for avatars, server icons and thumbnails. These image requests go to Discord; captured messages are not uploaded.

Retention and deletion

Retention is configurable, with a default of 14 days. You can delete all captured data from the reader’s menu. Uninstalling the extension deletes all its stored data.
